Why is my A/C blowing warm air?
Common causes are low refrigerant from a leak, a compressor that won't engage or an electrical issue. A system diagnosis finds the cause. To find out if we offer this service, call us to confirm.
Why is my car heater not working?
Often the coolant is low, the thermostat is stuck open or the heater core is clogged. First check the coolant level when the engine is cold. If the temperature gauge stays low, the thermostat is a suspect.
Why won't my windows defog?
Use the A/C with the defrost, as it dries the air even in winter. Avoid recirculation mode and check the cabin air filter. A sweet smell with greasy fog can point to a heater core leak.
Why does my A/C smell bad?
A musty smell often comes from moisture and bacteria in the system or a dirty cabin filter. Replacing the filter often helps. Turning off the A/C a few minutes before you park, while keeping the fan on, helps dry the system.
How often should the cabin air filter be changed?
Follow the interval in your owner's manual. In the city, with dust and pollen, it gets dirty faster. Weak airflow or a smell are signs it's time.
